London 2026

FabricationGap is back with our third Symposium. Wolf Mangelsdorf and Fabian Scheurer will be hosting FabGap3 in London at Space House London on 24 and 25 September 2026.

At our first two events in Vienna (2024) and Munich (2025) we looked at the technical, contractual and procedural conditions. These all seem very well understood, yet not sufficient to enable change at scale.

We believe that the fabrication gap is ultimately linked to a lack of cultural alignment of those involved. FabGap 3 will provoke a discussion about:

Architecture: Are the designers only talking to themselves?

Construction: Do the builders understand or care about architectural culture?

Capital: Is it only about financial return?

Society: What is the wider impact of what we build?
